When it comes to photographing the ocean all you need is a bit of patience and a bit of luck.

In this video, I go over the basic panel and show you how you can make some basic adjustments to create a really dramatic scene. I shot this image during sunset, and I wanted to shoot it at a very slow shutter speed to slow down the clouds and water.

I purposely shot this in a very dramatic way, I wanted to give the scene a very dramatic feel. That usually wow’s the viewer and gets his mind going.

Notice how I use the local adjustments to finish the photo with the touch of a few sliders.

Conclusion – by shooting this particular scene very dark and moody I was able to adjust the sliders in such a way to bring more color out of the image, maintaining it dramatic and as it was intended.

Remember it is all about the subtle movements on your slider, and combined, they create an awesome photo.
