Long Exposure Zen by Marco Crupi

I love to compose my images while using long exposure techniques. Since beginning my digital photography quest, I have experimented with long exposure. I now have developed creative control on this method. This creative form allows me to enhance motion and soften it at the same time as well as intensify color and perception. It allows me to create surreal images which would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye. Motion and the passing of time are beautifully enhanced through this technique.

I stack filters, a lot of filters to customize this particular look according to light and subject presented. I use Neutral Density filters, Vari-ND’s, Solid, Grad ND’s, Polarizers, and anything in between. The beauty of photography is such that there are no rules to your artistic expression. Just create what makes you feel alive. Marco tells ShutYourAperture.
