This weeks inspiration comes from Photographer of the week Daniel Stefas.
Born, raised and still residing in the beautiful small coastal town of Port Kembla, I’ve always had a passion for photography. Being completely self-taught decided to give up my day job in 2011 to start my own photography business. First starting out in portrait photography, I had a go at landscape photography when another local photographer invited me out one morning and it was love at first click! I always enjoyed the outdoors and solitude, being out before the sunrise to get ready for a shoot was what I loved most … whether it be near the ocean or inland, a country property – in the serene felling of being one with nature, I found my calling.
Since first starting out, I experienced rapid progression over the next 2 years with my work and with that came high acclaim. Winning competitions and awards both locally and internationally. Recently, I have been accepted into the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers. I am honoured to be a part of such a prestigious organisation and that my collection of works is up there along with the best in Australia.
It’s not just the beautiful landscape pictures I enjoy capturing – industry, buildings, it’s the other images that showcase our everyday life is among things that I have interest in! Hopefully you all enjoy what I capture every time I put effort into setting up and capturing my shot with whatever grabs my attention…
There is beauty in everything, the trick is capturing it at the perfect time to showcase that to everyone else !
